Counterfeit Kyocera cell-phone batteries

Cell-phone hand grenades!

Some Kyocera cell phone models may contain a counterfeit lithium-ion battery which has the potential to overheat, catch fire or burst. Models include Kyocera 3200 Series, Kyocera X400/KE400 Series and the Kyocera Slider Series (SE44/SE47).

Today, I submitted a request for a new cell phone battery for my Kyocera SE47.
