MetaFilter attracts an eclectic mix of people. It has a take-no-prisoners approach to n00bs (new members) and to the opinionated MeFi veteran with a weak post.

Membership periodically opens and closes depending on the whim of founder Matt Haughey. It’s a rough and tumble place with a mix of news, politics, trolls, trash, agendas and more. It’s low signal to noise ratio is annoying. MeFi requires some focused lurking before jumping into the fray (especially on the front page) with a good post. Cell-phone hand grenades!

Some Kyocera cell phone models may contain a counterfeit lithium-ion battery which has the potential to overheat, catch fire or burst. Models include Kyocera 3200 Series, Kyocera X400/KE400 Series and the Kyocera Slider Series (SE44/SE47).
