Free Image Hosting
June 24, 2005 | In web design |Blogger’s new image upload feature (the photo icon on the tool bar) enables users to upload and display images in their posts.
Useful for those who host their blog with Blogger. For others, like this blog, the images are uploaded to the FTP account hosting the blog, rather than to Blogger’s image server.
Other free image hosting resources for bloggers, message board users, and online sellers include ImageShack and ImageVenue.
No need to register, no size and bandwidth limit, but ImageVenue has limited image types allowed. ImageShack limits file size to 1024kb. However, you can upload a wide variety of images like .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .swf, and .png image types. (Flickr is oriented towards sharing photos).
