Apple’s Online Store will be taking orders for the iPhone beginning today at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Analysts estimate that the company will sell from 200,000 to 1 million iPhones today. There are two versions, a 4-gigabyte model and an 8-gigabyte model. AT&T service contracts, including mobile Internet access, start at $60 per month.
